Bob Campbell MW (BC) : 98 Points (2016)
This is a terrific pinot noir - great to drink now despite the sneaking feeling that it's going to get even better with bottle age. Totally seductive ripe cherry, berry and plum flavours with added complexity from subliminal floral, spice, savoury and herb. The texture is to die for and the wine has impressive power as evidenced by a lingering finish that won't quit. (10/2018)

Wine Spectator (WS) : 94 Points (2016)
Elegant and focused, featuring fresh raspberry and cherry flavors at the core, with a creamy texture, accents of cinnamon and clove, and dried herbal and black tea notes echoing in the background. All the elements are harmonious on the long finish. Drink now through 2033. (MW) (9/2019)

Robert Parker (RP) : 94 Points (2016)
The 2016 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir is a wine of tremendous appeal and seduction. Herb-tinged black cherries and cola notes appear on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is rich and silky, lined with plush yet well-defined tannins that support the fruit and linger on the long finish. It's approachable now, but it should drink well for a decade or more.

James Suckling (JS) : 93 Points (2016)
Ripe red cherries with attractive spicy complexity. Silky, supple and deeply flavorsome palate with smooth, mellow tannins that carry plenty of fresh, bright red-cherry flavor. Drink now. Screw cap. (12/2018)

Jancis Robinson (JR) : 17.5 Points (2016)
Light cherry. Much more open and aromatic than the 2012. Full of lively red fruit and those crushed herbs again. Smooth and compact on the palate, multiple very fine layers. Less open on the palate than on the nose. Needs time. 17.5/20 points. (JH) (1/2018)

Decanter (DCT) : 92 Points (2015)
Beautifully made Pinot which manages to blend richness and ripeness of fruit, with elegance and finesse from a structure driven by well-used, ripe tannins and a spicy finish. Some sappy elements, but worth ageing. Drinking Window 2018 - 2024

Burghound (BH) : 91 Points (2013)
An attractively fresh and cool red and dark pinot fruit nose offers up hints of plum, tea and spice. The delicious, round and velvet-textured medium-bodied flavors possess solid volume before terminating in a dusty, sappy and well-balanced finale. This is already drinking well even though the flavors and finish are shaped by a moderately firm tannic spine. While this isn't super-complex I suspect that if this was aged another 3 to 5 years that more depth would develop. Worth trying.

Ce vin est de couleur or pale avec des nuances vertes. Son bouquet aux arômes intenses et puissants de cassis, de fruit de la passion, de pamplemousse et de groseille jaillissent du verre…

Felton Road Cornish Point Pinot Noir 2018
