Syrah

This wine has a fragrant nose featuring damson plums and blackberry liqueur, with touches of vanilla and spice. The palate is ripe, juicy and elegant with fresh and preserved raspberry and blackberry fruit flavours.

The 2013 carries the extra degree of opulence that you see in the great years. Beautifully perfumed thanks to the co-fermented Viognier, it is ethereal, elegant and alluring. Its silky tannins bring together black fruits, dried herbs, rose buds and black pepper characters. It has the structure to age very well.

Le Sol translated from French means “the soil”, appropriate when one considers the significant impact the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels Vineyard have on this wine called "Le Sol".
