1. Introduction
These are the terms and conditions applying to all sales and are the basis upon which orders are accepted by Voyageurs du Vin. They will apply to all sales unless varied in writing to all future transactions.

The placing of an order anywhere on our website does not constitute a contract, which is made only when we accept your order and process payment.
All goods are offered subject to availability.
Occasionally a wine you order may go out of stock. If this is the case we will contact you to inform you of the potential delay or offer you an alternative wine of equal or greater value.
Voyageurs du Vin reserves the right to refuse an order. Voyageurs du Vin reserves the right to charge interest at 5% above the base rate of our Bank per month on overdue accounts and to review and/or remove retrospectively any special trading terms previously agreed in relation to the overdue account.
4. Payment and pricing
The price for the goods you order is as stated on our site at the time you send us your order.
All prices include VAT and duty unless stated otherwise.
In the unlikely event of an incorrect price being displayed on the Website, we reserve the right to correct the price. Where we discover an error in the price of any wine that you have ordered, we will not be obliged to proceed with your order and we will usually endeavor to inform you of the error and the correct price as soon as possible. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase and we will usually endeavor to ask you to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the corrected price within a stated time. In the event that you reply that you do not wish to proceed at the corrected price, do not reply within the stated time, or if we are unable to contact you, then we will cancel the order and refund the amount paid. In no circumstances will we be obliged to proceed with your purchase of wine at an incorrect price, even if we have accepted your order for wines displayed at the incorrect price and/or failed to inform you of the error.
5. Delivery
We use specialized packaging for our wines and make every effort that they reach you in perfect condition. Our couriers are instructed to return any damaged goods directly to us and not to deliver to the customer.
Delivery costs are charged extra at the rate shown on our site when you place your order.
All orders for delivery outside the EU may be liable to local duties and taxes for which customers are responsible. The local delivery agent in your destination country will contact you to arrange payment of these taxes.
We will do our best to arrange delivery within the time specified on our website or, if none, a reasonable period. We are not liable for late delivery to the extent that this is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
On receipt of your goods please check the items carefully. You must notify us immediately of any shortage, damage or bottle deficiency. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as satisfying your order 48 hours after collection/delivery, and thereafter will not be entitled to reject the order for any reason.
Risk of damage or loss to the goods passes to you on delivery or if you wrongfully refuse delivery when delivery is attempted.
We cannot accept any liability for delayed or non-delivery of goods due to misinformation or an incorrectly supplied delivery address or a mistake by the carrier.
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address supplied by you, the customer, we reserve the right to charge the appropriate carriage fee to re-send.
6. Returns
You may cancel your order for any reason up to and including 7 working days from the date of delivery of your order, provided all the bottles are unopened and intact. We will refund the price of the order excluding any delivery charge.
If you cancel, you must return the goods delivered to you, as soon as reasonably possible and at your own expense, to the address that we specify in our acknowledgement of your cancellation notice. We will charge you the direct costs of recovery if you do not comply or if you return them at our expense. (This right of cancellation does not apply to bottles which have been opened.)
All Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by us.
7. Ownership
All wines and spirits, or other goods ordered, remain the property of Voyageurs du Vin until payment is received in full.
8. Our content
Voyageurs du Vin has made every effort to ensure that the information on this website is correct, accurate and up to date. However, Voyageurs du Vin takes no responsibility whatsoever for information that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All copyright, database rights, trademarks (including the Voyageurs du Vin® trademark) and any other intellectual property rights in and to the content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, underlying source code and software, is the sole property of Voyageurs du Vin, or the applicable licensor.
Any use (including copying, reproduction, duplication, transmission, or display of the content of this website, without the express written permission of Voyageurs du Vin) for purposes other than the viewing of information or for ordering purposes, is strictly prohibited.
Permission is granted to electronically copy, and to print in hard copy, portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with Voyageurs du Vin or using this website as a shopping resource
10. Privacy Policy
When you make a purchase from the Voyageurs du Vin website, we collect personal information to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to Voyageurs du Vin maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data we collect about you.
Except where the law permits or unless you specifically agree, Voyageurs du Vin does not sell or rent your personal data to others outside Voyageurs du Vin. We do not share or sell our customer list to any third party.
Additional information will also be collected to allow Voyageurs du Vin to optimize your experience and send you special offers which we feel will be of interest to you. 11. Age Restrictions
It is against the law to sell or deliver alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request some form of ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the wine.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and all our contracts are governed by French Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French Courts.
We reserve the right to make changes to the website or to this disclaimer at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
