Portuguese Wine

This wine takes its name from the location of the vineyard from which the grapes come: Douro Superior (Upper Douro). The grapes used to make this wine come from our property Quinta da Cabreira where we have 114 hectares of recently planted vines.  

On the palate there is a vigor and liveliness to the wine and, as the aromas suggest, intense complexity and completeness. Its equilibrium enables the wine to show well young but at the same time it has an enormous potential for ageing. 

Pale, bright topaz colour with a golden tinge, fresh with dry fruit, wood and citrus flavours with a fresh and nutty persistent finish.

A wine with an intense garnet colour and aromas of black fruit jam, ripe olives, mint and spices. Its structure is distinct, possessing a clear freshness and a set of solid and exuberant tannins that guarantee its longevity.

The whites are a blend of Antão Vaz and Arinto grape varieties, showing a citrus colour and a fruity, persistent, delicate and complex aroma. On the palate they are soft, dry, complex and balanced.
