From the Nebbiolo grape grown around the town of Barolo, this wine is full and complex with a rich and intense aroma reminiscent of almonds, juniper and anise. Well structured with earthy notes and firm tannins through to an elegantly long finish.

A postcard from Piedmont to express the love for our land, an affection that Giuseppe Rivetti, known as “Pin”, taught his sons Carlo, Bruno and Giorgio. The synergy between Barbera and Nebbiolo results in a bouquet of fruit, flowers, and spices. The balance between tannins and acidity makes this wine a perfect companion for food.

Intense aromas and flavours of ripe cherries and notes of warm spice and rose petals. Strong, rich tannins and crisp acidity provide a well-balanced wine with a long, lingering finish.

The vineyard “Parussi” is located in Castiglione Falletto at an altitude of 300 m asl. The excellent exposure of the vineyard produces wines with the tannic structure and power typical of Nebbiolo from Castiglione Falletto.

The Parafada vineyard is located in Serralunga d’Alba at an altitude of 330m asl. Its southern exposure and natural protection from the wind produces an elegant, charming wine unique to Nebbiolo, with a robust, rich yet austere character.

The 1.7 hectare Margheria vineyard is located in Serralunga d’Alba at an altitude of 340 m asl. The soil is calcareous with a good percentage of sand, adding elegance, mineral and spicy notes to the wine.

Sweet floral aromas of rose and violet are predominant on the nose with a hint of fresh mint and spices. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with a good acidity balancing the concentration of body and flavours.

Aromas of mature fruits are complemented by hints of wild mint, eucalyptus, herbs and fine spice. Rich on the palate with a tightly woven structure of fine tannins, it shows outstanding elegance and harmony from this truly unique Barolo cru

The “Vigna Rionda” vineyard is in one of the best positions in Serralunga: when Giovanni and Renato Massolino decided to buy it, they exchanged it for a larger vineyard. It produces a powerful, concentrated wine, suitable for long ageing.

The Colonnello vineyard is one of Conterno's best plots, producing a Barolo with aromas of aniseed and roses, ripe plums giving way to an elegant, mineral character on the palate.
