Beaune 1er Cru "Boucherottes" is an aromatic, full bodied wine of considerable structure and complexity tempered by a rich fruit roundness and plump, sumptuous texture.

It will accompany most meat dishes, whether they be light or strongly sauced, as well as most cheese.

Robert Parker (RP) : 93 Points (2015)
The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Les Boucherottes has a subtle bouquet that comes across more introspective than the 2015 Beaune Clos des Couchereaux, the fruit darker but equally well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, tensile tannin - plenty of tart red cherry fruit, quite saline in the mouth leading to an understated but very focused finish. This is another top-notch Beaune Premier Cru from Louis Jadot.Range:91-93

James Suckling (JS) : 92 Points (2014)
So decadent and earthy with berry and citrus undertones. Medium body, firm and chewy tannins and a stone and berry undertone. Concrete shine through. Muscular. Drink in 2020 but fun to try now.
