Douro

This wine takes its name from the location of the vineyard from which the grapes come: Douro Superior (Upper Douro). The grapes used to make this wine come from our property Quinta da Cabreira where we have 114 hectares of recently planted vines.  

A beautiful amber-honey color, it shows excellent fruit on the palate, tropical fruits - especially pineapple - but at the same time has a long dry finish, typical of the house style you find at La Rosa.

Quinta da Romaneira Reserva White is a prestigious Portuguese white wine that embodies the essence of the Douro Valley. With its harmonious blend of indigenous grape varieties, it offers a rich, aromatic, and textured experience, showcasing the region's winemaking excellence.

As the name suggests, this wine is made from old vines with an average age of 70 years, including as many as 30 different grape varieties.

On the palate there is a vigor and liveliness to the wine and, as the aromas suggest, intense complexity and completeness. Its equilibrium enables the wine to show well young but at the same time it has an enormous potential for ageing. 

The Mirabilis Branco from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a magnificent white wine, offering a unique and sophisticated taste experience. It stands as a testament to the winery's commitment to excellence and innovation in the Douro Valley.

This wine is made with 100% Touriga Nacional. Lively and deep in color with intense ripe fruit aromas and notes of oak. Soft and round in the palate with everything is in balance. Long and spicy finish.

Released only in the finest years, this wine is made with 100% Tinta Roriz. Vivid and deep in color with intense ripe fruit aromas and notes of oak. Soft and round on the palate, very well balanced. A long and lingering finish.

Produced only in exceptional vintages, this wine is produced from the best Touriga Franca plots on the estate.
