Sistri were ancient Egyptian musical instruments linked to Isis, goddess of agriculture and fertility. A classic ripe-fruit Chardonnay nose, with a blend of tropical fruit, vanilla and appealing notes of spice.

Vermentino from Tenuta Guado al Tasso is straw yellow in color with greenish highlights. Good intensity on the nose with citrus aromas, citron peel and elderflowers. Its palate has good concentration yet maintains excellent freshness and balance. Its finish is lingering with light citrusy notes.

Food Matching: A white wine for all seasons. Good as an aperitif, but excellent with starters based on fish and pasta.

Vinification: The grapes are picked into crates and are at once refrigerated at 8°C. After light crushing and destemming they are soft pressed. The decanted must is racked and inoculated with yeasts then ferments at 15°C for 20 days. The wine thus obtained remains on the lees until February with continuous mixing. 10% of the must is fermented in barriques. The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks and Allier oak 225 litre barriques.

Pinot Grigio favours cooler climates and finds its ideal habitat on hillsides. Livio Felluga's vinification techniques give this wine finesse and elegance while preserving the faint coppery highlights that are Pinot Grigio's hallmark.
