The 2022 Ried Kreutles Loibner Grüner Veltliner Smaragd opens on the elegant nose with notes of ripe yellow apple and fine spice. It's full-bodied and intense on the palate yet lively, enormously substantial, long and mineral. Tasted at Schloss Dürnstein, Wachau, in September 2023.
