More information on wine critics and ratings
A sweet, botrytis affected wine inspired by the classic German “Beerenauslese” style. The wine is deeply concentrated, yet elegant and not cloying as a result of its vibrant acid and naturally low alcohol. Aromatics of orange citrus, apricot, marmalade and cream with a rich mouthfeel and extract, lots of stone fruit and zesty flavours, all held together with the bright acidity. Tense and juicy on the finish.

Decanter (DCT) : 95 Points (2018)
Concentrated, creamy, beeswax botrytis aromas are threadedwith orange zest and fragrantwhite peach. The palate is intensely fresh andmouthfilling, moving through flavours of dried peach and apricot, sustained by thrilling, bright acidity.

Bob Campbell MW (BC) : 96 Points (2017)
Six separate selections with largely 100% botrytis affected berries, though many not yet fully raisined, fermented in stainless and oak. A lot sweeter than the auslese riesling. A luscious wine with honey, peach, tropical fruits and a suggestion of floral character. Restrained acidity.

James Suckling (JS) : 92 Points (2017)
A crisp feel for a sweet wine. This is very vibrant and balanced, dessert-style riesling with ripe peach and nectarine flavors building to a neat, long finish. Drink now. Screw cap. (10/2018)

Robert Parker (RP) : 90 Points (2017)
A notch sweeter than the Auslese, the 2017 Noble Riesling weighs in at 180 grams per liter residual sugar. This medium-bodied wine features intensely sweet and somewhat monochromatic flavors of candied pineapple and honey, only partially balanced by chalky notes on the finish. (2/2018)

White stone fruit, white peach, apricot, cool and delicious. Think Fuji apple, shiro plum, lime leaves. Focused and a very long, minerally finish. Kung Fu Girl.....too pure!

Brundlmayer Riesling Ried Steinmassl 2019
Citrus peel, white flowers, stone fruit and gooseberry dominate the graceful aromatic arc, delicate and bright fruit nuances on the palate, dry, fresh and pure with more yellow fruit and great acidity to match leading to a mineral and slightly spicy finish.
