Robert Parker (RP) : 90 Points (2018)
Of the three 2018s in this year's lineup of releases, Dog Point's 2018 Chardonnay stands out as being the pick of the litter. Attractive notes of toasted nuts and grain join hints of grilled citrus on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is less generous than some years, but it offers bright pineapple and citrus flavors, a silky mouthfeel, and a lingering finish.

Wines & Spirits (W&S) : 92 Points (2015)
What’s great about this wine is its ability to maintain its size and scope without the flavors becoming overbearing. From vines planted in 1981, this wine ferments in French oak (15 percent new), and integrates the wood notes into the fruit seamlessly. It’s a full-bodied wine that moves well, with notes of chamomile, ripe lemon and raw hazelnuts tethered to breezy acidity. It has lively energy and will cellar well for up to five years.

Jeb Dunnuck (JD) : 95 Points (2014)
Another sensational wine is the 2014 Chardonnay, which spent 18 months in 20% new oak. Citrus rind, white flowers, and flinty minerality all give way to a pure, precise, incredibly refined Chardonnay that has medium-bodied depth and richness, integrated acidity, and a great finish. Don’t miss this beauty.

James Suckling (JS) : 94 Points (2014)
A wine that pulls no punches, this is an inspired take on modern, complex chardonnay. It offers up gun metal, flinty lemons and spicy poached pears as well as peach fruits on the nose with a strident dose of stylish oak for good measure. The palate's both rich and refreshing, delivering a wealth of nut-flecked peach-fruit flavors and a satisfyingly fleshy texture. Drink now.

Wine Spectator (WS) : 93 Points (2014)
Vivid, stylish and expressive, with layers of sweet cream, orange blossom, nutmeg and mango flavors that are rich, juicy and succulent, revealing plenty of intensity and energy on the long, lingering finish. Drink now through 2021. 2,500 cases made.

Bob Campbell MW (BC) : 96 Points (2013)
Very pure, almost ethereal Chardonnay with gentle citrus/grapefruit and mineral flavours together with a suggestion of honey and subtle yeast lees and oak influence. Youthful wine that is delicious now but will develop wonderfully with bottle age. (3/2015)

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 90 Points (2013)
This starts off a bit funky, with struck match aromas partially obscuring apple and citrus fruit. Yet it's full and custardy in feel, with hints of fruit showing through and a long, harmonious finish, so there's optimism for its future development. Drink now-2020. (JC) (3/2016)

Vinous (Antonio Galloni) (VN) : 88 Points (2013)
May 2016 - Bright yellow. Aromas of yellow fruits, mirabelle, menthol and wet stone, plus a funky touch of leesy reduction that reminded me of white Burgundy. Tactile, salty wine with good texture but no easy sweetness. In a distinctly savory style, with its yellow fruit flavors in the deep background. Finishes a bit dusty and dry.
