Bright straw green in colour. The 2015 Riesling exhibits concentrated aromas of citrus blossom, sweet spice, musk and subtle perfume of golden delicious apples.

The palate reveals incredible freshness with soft lingering flavours of freshly cut Australian finger limes, crisp granny smith and jasmine spice which are balanced and fine, the delicate natural acidity drives the pallet into a persistent mineral finish.

James Suckling (JS) : 93 Points (2016)
This is a long time favorite for Australian riesling with stone, flint and spice character. Lemon, lime. Medium to full body, fruity and crisp. A beauty as always. Fresh. Super peppermint at finish. Screw cap. Drink now or hold.

James Halliday (JH) : 91 Points (2016)
Every year this wine sells out long before any of the other wines in Leeuwin Estate's portfolio, clearly it's not broken, and there is no suggestion it needs fixing. It has lemon/lime citrus fruit, and the acidity doesn't leave any mark. On the other side, its flavour is given by the fruit, residual sugar doesn't play any part.

Vinous (Antonio Galloni) (VN) : 92 Points (2015)
Green-tinged straw. High-pitched citrus zest and floral aromas carry a smoky mineral overtone and a background hint of quinine. Vibrant, dry and focused on the palate, offering intense lime and green apple flavors that deepen and become juicier with air. Shows impressive tension and a bright mineral character on the incisive finish, which leaves behind bitter citrus pith and honeysuckle notes. -- Josh Raynolds

Robert Parker (RP) : 90 Points (2015)
From 40-year-old original plantings, the 2015 Riesling Art Series is very pretty on the nose with honeysuckle, peach blossom and lime cordial notes, as well as a touch of anise. Light-bodied and dry, with great intensity, this wine has approachable softness and great length.

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 90 Points (2015)
Tasted blind, this wasn't particularly different from the other Rieslings in its flight, which were predominantly South Australian. It's got those same wet stone and citrus tendencies and is made in the same medium-bodied, dry, high-acid style. There's a touch of pineapple as well, plus a long, dry crisp finish.

Wine Spectator (WS) : 89 Points (2015)
Delivering green apple and lemon flavors that are lean, fresh and bright, this white has tangy acidity and a crisp, mouthwatering finish, with a touch of minerality.
