Deep violet color with red hues. Very intense on the nose, where notes of black fruits, chocolate and spices combine. In the mouth it offers a good balance between power and freshness, great volume and with an intense, long aftertaste.

Full-bodied, rich and mouth filling with creamy ripe fruit characters and toasty, spicy oak balanced by crisp acidity and a long finish.

Notes of ocean breeze with elegant fragrances of slightly candied citrus, rhubarb and pink grapefruits and hints of green peppers, in which the minerality is a highlight. On the palate it is saline and juicy at the same time with a clear and elegant acidity which continues together with the long finish of this wine. This is a great example of a seductive and fine wine that can be enjoyed for drinking now, or in a few more years.

The second wine of Alcohuaz was named after the southern constellation of the Crane, the vessel of materialization between divinity and humanity. Grus owes its characteristics to grapes that come from single vineyards located at multiple altitudes throughout the Alcohuaz property.
