Reviews
Robert Parker (RP) :
91 Points
(2019)
A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petite Sirah, 12% Zinfandel, 11% Petit Verdot, 7% Syrah and 5% Malbec, the 2019 Proprietary Red Wine delivers notes of cassis, blackberries and blueberries on the nose, backed by an underlay of mocha-tinged oak. It's medium to full-bodied, decently concentrated and nicely balanced, marrying silky tannins to a bright, vibrant finish. Best After 2022
James Suckling (JS) :
91 Points
(2019)
Aromas of blueberry, black cherry and blackberry. Medium-to full-bodied with velvety tannins. A solid core of black fruit on the palate with some toasted complexity. Black tea comes through.
Wine Spectator (WS) :
90 Points
(2018)
This delivers a blast of violet, cassis, kirsch and black licorice notes all sewn together with a brambly thread. The flavors stay nicely in lockstep as they drive through the juicy finish. A crowd-pleasing style.

Rafael Palacios Louro Godello 2022
If we had to pick an example of wine to illustrate the word “balance” it would be Louro. It combines the freshness of Galician wines with the richness of lees contact and oak ageing in a very elegant and subtle way. Rich but precise, this is a a real treat for discerning palates.
