Reviews
Robert Parker (RP) :
92 Points
(2017)
The 2017 Corte A is a blend of 66% Malbec, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Bonarda from classical alluvial soils and has 14.6% alcohol and good acidity, reflecting a warm and dry year. It fermented in concrete and matured in 3,500-liter oak vats and 500- and 225-liter oak barrels for 18 months, and 40% of the oak was new. It has a very classical profile, still showing young and a little marked by the élevage in wood, a little riper than the previous vintage and with very succulent flavors on the finish, again reflecting the conditions of the year. 10,000 bottles were filled in December 2019.
James Suckling (JS) :
93 Points
(2015)
A complex red blend with subtle herbal notes alongside the discreet blackberry and blackcurrant notes on the nose. Full body. Elegant, velvety tannins carry the long, minerally finish.
Wine Spectator (WS) :
91 Points
(2013)
Ripe and rich, with muscular flavors of blackberry, dark plum and cherry tart, laced with savory accents. Offers sanguine notes midpalate, finishing with hints of slate and black peppercorn. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Bonarda. Drink now through 2021.

Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc - Viognier 2021
Crisp, bright and lively, this wine is an aromatic white blend boasting a bouquet of orange blossom, honeysuckle, citrus, tropical fruit, and fresh cut green herbs. On the palate, there are ripe fruit flavours of lychee, white peach, grapefruit and nectarine flavours. It is medium-bodied, with a hint of minerality on the long, refreshing finish.
