Our aim with our Syrah is to give true and complete expression to the Shale & Schist and Granite terroirs in which the vines grow. Approximately half the grapes are whole-bunch fermented and all fermentation is with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for 11 months in French oak, 15% new. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.

Bonarda is the second most important red grape in Argentina, and Emma is one of the very best examples. Emma Zuccardi, Sebastián’s Grandmother, is an elegant and charming woman; characteristics Sebastián has worked hard to reflect in this wine. Grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Paraje Altamira and San Pablo regions of the Uco Valley.

An intense ruby red in color, the wine offers a fruity and floral nose with additional notes of spices and toasted oak. The palate is supple and balanced and the toasty and fruity sensations linger on a fragrant and persistent finish.
