This Argentinian Malbec is an exceptional wine from a unique terroir. It is produced by the Zuccardi family, one of the most prestigious winemakers in Argentina.
The vines are located in the Gualtallary region of Mendoza province. This terroir is characterized by its stony soils and high altitude (1,800 meters). These climatic conditions allow Malbec grapes to develop a high concentration of fruit and tannins.
The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks with partial malolactic fermentation. It is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
On the nose, the wine is intense and complex, with notes of black fruits, black cherries, black currants, plums, sweet spices, cacao, and minerality. There are also hints of licorice and leather.
On the palate, the wine is powerful and fleshy, with silky tannins and a beautiful structure. The finish is long and persistent.
This wine is ideal for pairing with grilled red meats, game, or hard cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own to appreciate its aromatic complexity.
