Phantom, the mysterious apparition of ripe berry and relentless spice, returns to haunt wine lovers. Full of concentration and intensity, this wine will tease, tantalize and linger long after the last sip is gone.

Ruby red in colour, with an intensely perfumed nose of wild red and black fruit, cherries and raspberries and spicy vanilla from the oak ageing. Lovely weight on the palate with the oak adding polish and roundness to the structure of the Sangiovese.

Bouchard Finlayson's Hannibal blend was originally prompted by the classic taste and palate of Italian varieties: Sangiovese and Nebbiolo.

The wines take their name from the Carthusian monks, who since 1598 have lived a life of solitude and prayer in the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli. The reds are a blend of the Alentejo’s most traditional grape varieties: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alfrocheiro, Periquita, Moreto and Tinta Caiada. 

Merlot and Cabernet Franc in equal parts, from low crop yield and strong character. The fruitful Merlot intersects the balsamic notes of Cabernet Franc, connecting spicy and minty…

On the palate there is a vigor and liveliness to the wine and, as the aromas suggest, intense complexity and completeness. Its equilibrium enables the wine to show well young but at the same time it has an enormous potential for ageing. 

Violet colour with deep blue hues, spicy and smokey notes, subtle and distinguished. In the mouth it is elegant with a silky entry. Tannins reflect the vineyard´s calcareous soil. A fresh blend with great personality.

A postcard from Piedmont to express the love for our land, an affection that Giuseppe Rivetti, known as “Pin”, taught his sons Carlo, Bruno and Giorgio. The synergy between Barbera and Nebbiolo results in a bouquet of fruit, flowers, and spices. The balance between tannins and acidity makes this wine a perfect companion for food.

Le Petit Clos is a different interpretation of the Clos Apalta Terroir, using the mastery of blending that is the heart of the winemaking philosophy from the Domaines Bournet - Lapostolle.  Winter 2014 was considered as rainy in Apalta, with higher temperature compared to the previous season, moving from a minimum of 4,5C to 14.7 C maximum.  Spring 2014 had moderate temerapture allowing for good bud break and blooming.
