James Suckling (JS) : 92 Points (2016)
Extremely floral on the nose with lemon-leaf and dried-flower notes that highlight the fruit. Full-bodied, firm and silky with a beautiful finish. Drink now or hold.

Wine Spectator (WS) : 90 Points (2016)
This well-balanced red is medium-bodied and fresh, with flavors of cherry, grilled plum, tea rose and smoke framed by sculpted tannins. Drink now through 2023.

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 91 Points (2015)
Delicate scents reminiscent of underbrush, scorched earth, flint, pressed blue flower and a whiff of toast lead the nose. The bright mediumbodied palate delivers crushed red berry, licorice and grilled Mediterranean herb alongside polished, fine-grained tannins. Drink through 2023.

Robert Parker (RP) : 90 Points (2015)
The 2015 Etna Rosso is mostly Nerello Mascalese with some Nerello Mantellato. Old vines range from 40 to 140 years in age. This is the estate's blended red. It does not see fruit selected from a single Contrada. Instead, this wine offers a panoramic expression with fruit from various sites, soil types and altitudes. The wine displays a moderate ruby hue and offers mild aromatic intensity. You get wild berry, ash and dried rose petal, but the delivery is subdued and understated. The mouthfeel is polished and tight.

Jancis Robinson (JR) : 17 Points (2014)
Tasted Oct 2015 - Tobacco, redcurrant, superfine but gripping tannin, pinprick acidity. Mocha notes on the finish. Loads to enjoy here, in a very dainty structure. (RH)

Vinous (Antonio Galloni) (VN) : 88 Points (2014)
Good full red. Aromas of red cherry, menthol and fresh herbs, with some obvious minerality. Simple, easygoing and suave on the palate, offering ripe flavors of smoky plum, red berries and peppery spices. Finishes discreet and persistent, with suave tannins and lingering floral perfume.-- Ian D'Agata
