“…Dreams…” from Chardonnay grapes. It has a sparkling straw-yellow colour. To the nose it offers charm and complexity, with aromas of rare elegance and refinement. Exotic hints of ripened fruit, melted butter, vanilla and pastry prevail. In the mouth it keeps all the promises made to the nose, follows through on them, and embellishes them with gentle flavours and aromatic nuances that are fresh and persistent.

James Suckling (JS) : 95 Points (2020)
This has an attractive nose of baked apples, apricots, mango stones, honeysuckle and lemon curd. Some buttered toast, too. Full-bodied, yet bright, with a creamy, ripe and succulent palate. Lemon and vanilla at the end. Drink now or hold.

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 92 Points (2019)
White spring flower, stone fruit and nutty aromas shape the nose on this creamy white. Tangy and delicious, it shows Pinot Grigio’s serious side, offering cantaloupe, peach and ripe yellow pear before finishing on an almost salty mineral note.

Wine Spectator (WS) : 92 Points (2019)
A well-cut, medium-bodied and fragrant white, offering a fine range of yellow apple and pear fruit, chopped hazelnut, lime blossom, flint and spice. A streak of tangy salinity drives the finish.

Wines & Spirits (W&S) : 90 Points (2017)
Notes of toasted vanilla and sweet cream reflect the 11 months this chardonnay spent in French oak barrels, yet a mouthwatering acidity lends this wine a tight structure. It will keep the green-apple and lemon-curd flavors lively as the oaky tones integrate over several years.

Robert Parker (RP) : 93 Points (2016)
The 2016 Where Dreams Have No End is 97% Chardonnay with a tiny part of other international and indigenous grapes that are added or subtracted according to the characteristics of the vintage. Some 35,000 bottles were made. Like Jermann's other whites, this expression is mostly fermented in stainless steel with a small part in small French barrel. This partial oak fermentation (and aging in barrel for 11 months) gives the wine a subtle, almost satiny textural gleam. The wine delivers ample fiber but not in an obvious way. You might describe this as a seemingly unoaked oaked Chardonnay.

Greywacke Chardonnay 2021
Greywacke Chardonnay 2021
An enticing combination of pink grapefruit, burnt orange and white nectarine interwoven with aromas of smoked almonds, hazelnut, and freshly cut hay. The savoury notes carries through onto the rich, textural palate, evidence of this wine’s low-intervention winemaking. An intricate bone-dry style that is highly concentrated with a distinct flintiness, tight structure and crisp, citrus finish.

Castello di Ama Chianti Classico Gran Selezione San Lorenzo 2018

Pure ruby-red color. The nose is fruity with cherry and strawberry notes. Some tertiary hints of leather. On the palate, ripened red fruits, succulent, intriguing and long-lasting. Tannins are delicate and well integrated. The aftertaste expresses a lively freshness with notes of dark red fruits, wet ground and wood.

The Columbia Valley Syrah is a soft, ripe Syrah with ripe berry fruit aromas and flavors with hints of vanilla and brown sugar spice. It was co-fermented with Viognier for an even more accessible and fruit forward style of Syrah. This is an enjoyable red.
