James Suckling (JS) : 92 Points (2023)
Clean and crisp with grapefruit, green melon and lemon character. Hints of stones. Medium body. Lovely acidity and a delicious finish. Some phenolic tension here. From organically grown grapes.

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 90 Points (2023)

Robert Parker (RP) : 94 Points (2022)
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc has such a maritime nose of ocean spray, beeswax, saltbush and wet rocks, but it's also steely; there's graphite and pencil shavings. What a joy. In the mouth, the wine floods every available square millimeter with flavor. This is elegant, saturated with fruit flavor and textural too. Super wine. This is a classy estate growing organic fruit (the largest organic grower in New Zealand) and responsible for wines that drink well now and cellar well too. Blue chip. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Vinous (Antonio Galloni) (VN) : 92 Points (2022)
Tasted in a line-up of dozens of Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, the 2022 Dog Point stood out for all the right reasons. It is elegant with appealing ripe nectarine fruit followed up with bright but balanced acidity. It offers delightful texture, making an attractive light-bodied wine with some appealing succulence through the mid-palate, potentially due to lower yields. A triumph in a difficult year, showing rigorous selection. (RG) (1/2023)

Wine Spectator (WS) : 92 Points (2022)
A focused, precise expression of Sauvignon Blanc, with makrut lime leaf aromatics, notes of fresh lemon sorbet and a touch of fresh ginger. Ends with plenty of lime zest details on the mouthwatering finish, where a note of orange blossom lingers.

Bob Campbell MW (BC) : 93 Points (2021)
Crisp, dry and concentrated sauvignon blanc with nectarine, guava, salty-mineral, capsicum and lemongrass flavours. A serious sauvignon with intensity, length and a backbone of peppery phenolics. (9/2021)
