The 2014 Cave Block Chardonnay has white peach, lemon curd and apple blossom notes with a baking bread and honeysuckle undercurrent. Light-bodied, understated and elegant, it has a lovely quiet intensity and a mineral laced finish.

Vinous (Antonio Galloni) (VN) : 90 Points (2012)
Light, green-tinged gold. Fresh citrus and orchard fruits on the nose, with hints of chalky minerals and ginger adding vivacity. Juicy and penetrating on the palate, offering vibrant Meyer lemon and green apple flavors that flesh out with air. Shows depth and well as vivacity and finishes tangy and long, with a suave floral note sneaking in late.
