Robert Parker (RP) : 93+ Points (2013)
The 2013 Chardonnay Art Series is very ripe and rich, with a tropical nose of ginger, brioche and honeyed peach. The medium-bodied palate reveals a pleasant oiliness, which is in synch with the spicy richness. The finish has great length and freshness supporting the many layers.

James Halliday (JH) : 97 Points (2012)
If price wasn't a concern we'd all just want to drink bucket loads of this. It's all class and quality but the drinkability factor is extremely high. It's like sitting with someone expert in the art of conversation; it makes you laugh and cry and lean in closer. Fruit, oak, texture, acidity, length: a hand full of aces, neatly arranged, trim and terrific.

James Suckling (JS) : 95 Points (2012)
February, 2016. A wine with amazing richness and depth. So much apple pie character yet minerally underneath. Full body, so much length. Gorgeous. Drink now. Screw cap.

Wine Spectator (WS) : 94 Points (2012)
TOP 100 2015 - Amazingly focused, layered and expressive, with pear, lime, guava and floral flavors that meld harmoniously and linger on the creamy finish. Deftly pulls all the elements together into a cohesive whole, lingering effectively and precisely. Drink now through 2022. 3,000 cases made.

Wine Enthusiast (WE) : 94 Points (2012)
Leeuwin's Chardonnay continues to be a standard-bearer for Margaret River and all of Australia. The 2012 Art Series is subtly toasty on the nose, blossoming with time into full-on crème brûlée aromas, while the palate offers creamy-textured notions of tropical fruit and custard. The long finish reverberates with fruit, suggesting plenty of aging potential, up to 10 or 12 years. J.C. (6/1/2016)

Antonio Galloni (Vinous) (AG) : 93 Points (2012)
Light yellow. Pungent aromas of tangerine, peach and white flowers, complicated by a tropical fruit nuance. Juicy, spicy and intense, with tangy acidity lifting flavors of citrus and orchard fruits, ginger and anise. Becomes creamier and spicier with air and finishes on a subtle pineapple note, with impressive clarity and length. The spicy, intensely mineral 2002 version of this wine is drinking very nicely right now, by the way, but still has years of life ahead of it.

Jancis Robinson (JR) : 17.5 Points (2009)
Tasted June 2012 - 1Understated, fresh and juicy. Less toasty than the Prelude Vineyards 2010. Textural and very youthful. The quality is more implicit than explicit at this stage. (RH)
